Paint has been my medium throughout my life. Bold color and pattern is my signature. My paintings embrace color and are bold. When placed upon the wall they are like functional creativity. My process is a play between intuitive and spontaneous. As I build a work, I let it speak to me. It requires trust in my own intuitive response and the ability to accept change though its creation.
I enjoy the sense of discovery. In 2021, I created my first painting installation that is a a meditative corner piece invite the viewer to sit and be with. I very interested in continuing to explore scale and installation of these works within gallery space. How is the view affected by these type of environments and how does it affect their interaction with the art? These are questions I wonder about.
