Ann-Marie Rose
Ann-Marie Rose works in a variety of media including photography and digital imaging. But for this years studio tour she is focusing on her jewelry. Working in silver she fashions fantastical and imaginative lapel pins, pendants, bracelets and earrings from silver clay and silversmithing. Fired in high temperature kilns, the resulting pieces are either 100% silver or .925 sterling silver. With the addition of hand selected gemstones the pieces are as colorful as they are beautiful. Jewelry made from sterling are known for their durability. This means her pieces last and stay looking the best they possibly can well into the future.
In addition Ann-Marie uses gemstones from specialty suppliers in Minnesota and all over the world. Emphasizing Ann-Marie’s knack for color, these vibrant eye-catching designs are perfect for everyday as well as special occasions.
Ann-Marie has BS degree in Imaging with an emphasis in photography, printing and design from the University of Minnesota. She is the recipient of a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for her digital imaging work and has exhibited in both group and one person shows.
